Python To Job is a free Python course. You can read every lesson without an account. This page explains what we store when you do create one, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

We do not use advertising, analytics or tracking scripts. The only cookies we set are the ones that keep you signed in.

  • Your email address, the name you choose, and optionally a profile picture link — when you create an account.
  • If you sign in with Google or GitHub: the name, email address and profile picture that provider shares with us. We ask only for basic profile and email, nothing else.
  • Your learning progress: which chapters you have started or finished, and your answers to chapter checkpoints.
  • Your preferred language (Bengali or English).

Why we use it

To give you an account, keep you signed in, save your progress so you can continue on any device, and — once it exists — to know whether you have access to Pro material. We send you email only for account purposes: confirming your address, resetting your password, or an invitation.

We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it for anything unrelated to the course.

Where it is stored

  • Supabase stores your account and progress in its Frankfurt, Germany (EU) region.
  • Vercel hosts the website and processes each request to serve it.
  • Google (Gmail) delivers our account emails.
  • Google or GitHub handle sign-in if you choose them, under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and progress.

Your choices

You can change your name, picture and language from your dashboard at any time. To get a copy of your data or have your account deleted, email pythontojob@gmail.com from the address on your account.

Changes

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
